The World appears to be burning almost always. Wars, Hunger, Disease, and Disaster are pushed in front of our eyes on a daily basis.

The World is Much Better

Yet Today we face fewer Wars and less Hunger and Poverty than the people before us did. Medical technology offers millions of people a chance at life that many would never have had just a few decades ago.

The World Can Be Much Better

And still many of the Technologies and Practices that have improved the lives of so many have not reached everyone. By dedicating ourselves to spreading and developing the means that save and improve lives we hope to build a future that takes everyone into account.

 THEA aims to help you figure out how you can use your career and resources to best help others.

The Hague Effective Altruism is a community of students, working people, and others. We support each other in figuring out how to have a large positive impact on the world.

Effective altruism often starts with learning about the world’s most pressing problems, and then getting the tools to help solve them.

The best charities and most impactful careers are 100x more effective at doing good than the average. Therefore we recommend investing time and energy into finding out what to do.

Education

Our group programmes are the best way to learn about how to make impact.

Complete the Intro Fellowship to get inspired to do good and to know what EA is all about.

A valuable network

With other EAs around you, you get exposed to more ideas, viewpoints and experiences. You can become connected with EAs from all over the world.

Also, it’s a lot more fun to do good if you know you’re not alone! Expect great social events :)

Opportunities
